Loftleidir Icelandic signs agreements with Blue Line and Axis Airways
The base for both operations is in Paris with flights departing to various destination points in the Mediterranean area. Each agreement includes the lease of one Boeing 757 aircraft, flight crew, maintenance and insurance.
Loftleidir Icelandic Managing Director Sigthor Einarsson says:
It is interesting to see this opening on the French market. Until now there has not been demand for the Boeing 757 jet aircraft in France on ACMI basis. The first Boeing 757 aircraft has recently been registered in France and already the French market is responding favourably. Loftleidir Icelandic two contracts in France confirm this.
Blue Line is a charter airline operating VIP flights, charter series for tour operators and also ACMI contracts. The company operates MD and Fokker aircraft. Blue Line was founded in January 2002 by Xavier Remondeau and 7 other shareholders.
